So I was weeding my onions and other stuff this weekend, and the other stuff (lettuce, spinach, carrots) didn't have these- what looked like fleas- around the area, only around the onions.
I haven't seen fleas in YEARS, but these were almost too small to be fleas. The shape was all wrong, and they were tiny black jumping "specks," not the brownish, oval on-your-dog fleas that I'm familiar with. Maybe the size of a tip of a pin or needle.
I've never actually seen aphids (I don't think)...are these aphids, or fleas, or something else?
