I don't find that the variety makes any difference when the contributing factors for blossom drop exist. In this case - containers which are always much more difficult to stabilize nutrient and moisture levels in. Your 84 degree high temps are fine assuming the humidity isn't especially high. Perhaps excess nitrogen which is another contributing cause.

"Watering regularly" can also be a cause of plant stress when the water isn't really needed. As with peppers, eggplants prefer to dry out some between watering..

Bottom line something is stressing the plant and causing the blossom drop.

Hmmm, I didn't know that egglants prefer some drying out. Maybe I'll try watering a little less. I only water if I feel the soil isn't moist.

Oh ya, the plants aren't that crowded and there's lots of space between the leaves, so air movement shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Stick your finger deep into the soil before watering. Moisture at root level is what counts, not the soil surface.

UPDATE:

Too much watering was definitely the problem. I watered the eggplants about 1-2 times a week or not even if it's been raining quite abit.

Now the fruits have been setting and growing nicely can't wait to harvest!
