My Kale crop this year has been going crazy. I have way too much and even though I'm eating Kale salads everyday, I'm still growing it faster than I can eat it. This has let to some of the plant leaves getting rather large 6-7" across and easily over a foot in length.

On one of my Siberian Kale plants the leaves have these spiny bumps on them (see pic). None of my other Kales plants have this. I've tried searching for this but can't find any information about it.

I'm thinking about making Kale chips out of these as I don't think they'd be too good in my salads.
