i want to plant the following for fall...

carrots, raddish, broccoli, leafy stuff (arugula, spinach and lettuce) . i dont have a ton of space....

when should i start to plant? I have a row that gets blocked by a picket fence and gets afternoon sun through the fence only. i think that is going to be my 1st fall spot. then another row in the middle of the garden

i live in the hudson valley of NY. zone 6A. westchester/putnam border.

Any help would be appreciated.
