I have been doing a lot of reading on the benefits of silver mulch and it's reflective properties such as a higher yield and less bugs. I was thinking of using it on my tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or particularly any experience with it? Thank you!

A study was done. If you use silver mulch with 30 percent shade cloth. You can extend growing season by month.

I used it last year in my EarthTainers. Doing the same again this year for 6 plants. Since my actual area of coverage is rather small, I would not expect to see a noticeable impact. The prime reason I am using it with my June 10 plant-outs is to avoid heating of the roots this time of year if I had used the traditional black much. Raybo
