 o
ichiban eggplant help

the plant has been doing great a lot of fruit growing (even tasted some already, mmm), however, i must have left for work this morning and it did not have enough water.

i came home in the evening, and a lot of the bottom leaves very saggy and soft feeling. and the fruit on the plant now instead of shiny and tight feeling, are now more wrinkly, soft, and leathery looking, almost like nutrients instantly cut off due to lack of water. i immediately watered, will the fruit on the plant go back to normal or are those gonna have to be cut off as is?

Cut them off (although it sounds more like they became overmature).

they are not over mature, they are only 2-3 inches long at moment and just starting out. i usually cut em off when they get about 8-9 inches. they were fine in the morning, just must have missed the plant watering when i left for work. just dont know if the lack of water affected the fruit and if it will return to normal. i guess i will see next few hours
