Too late in the season to post garden pics? :)

Gotta love the unpredictable weather here in the PNW. Huge hail storm this afternoon which severely shredded everything in my garden. Everything was going so well...tomatoes setting fruit, tons of healthy leaves & many blossoms which are now laying on the ground with the hail. Fingers crossed it'll dry out soon.

That's a pile of hail, Were having a thunderstorm right now in PA but the rain is great for the garden.

Rain yes, hail no! We're already pretty saturated right now, been raining for several days...hopefully it'll dry out /melt soon--it's kinda chilly out there (my poor eggplants, peppers, tomatoes).
Thanks, loribee. It is sad.

Wow sherm I sure hate to see that happen. Sure hope most of it bounces back (and the storm doesn't come this way). Seems like something always gets the garden one way or another.

Thanks, Dave. I sure hope it doesn't come your way either. Yes, there's always some adventure in the garden.
Feeling a little defeated, and misery loves company!

Oh man!! I'm so sorry!! You must live near me, I was in the Milwaukie fred meyers when it was coming down today, and the sound of the hail hitting the ceiling there was crazy. I was sure Id have garden damage, but came home and it didn't hit me here in SE Portland.

I live about 2 miles from that Fred Meyers. The storm was ridiculous, and I was just sitting inside watching as my plants got pummeled. I think Milwaukie was the only place that got it (according to the news). Lucky for you, Grace.
