Fresno Peppers (?) - Why Turning Brown?

First time ever for growing peppers. Bought a couple Habanero plants (which I understand are one of the hottest so I will be giving those to the brave) and a few called 'Fresno'. Is this just a type of Jalapeno? The plants are full of 2 and 3 inchers but the bigger they get, the more brown streaks show up. Is this the final color or is something wrong with them?

It's close to a Jalapeno as far as heat.

Got some pics?

It mat just be a case of sunburn, which won't affect them as far as eating is concerned. Sun SCALD, on the other hand, pretty much rots the pepper.
