Some of my asparagus ferns have gotten so large they're falling over. It's only the first year for them, so I was wondering if it's ok to cut the ones that are falling over?

Mine have fell over and picked themselves up a few times... Like many other things in my garden, actually. I would leave them, I think they are supposed to last until Fall?

Pound some stakes in the ground with twine going between them to keep the asparagus from falling over. Don't cut the ferns off. Rodney

Yes, prop them up. The crown needs the fern now to produce spears next year.
