I don't think your plant is stunted, it was just waiting for better weather to start growing. A few days of sun and it will really perk up. However, you say the plant is small, how small is it? And how light green are the leaves? A picture will certainly help.

As you've noticed cucumbers have small yellow blossoms, that's normal. It's also normal that the plant will start blooming male blossoms first and about a week later female blossoms show up (female blossoms have a little cucumber attached). So unless you have a female blossom that's pollinated, you won't have a cuke.

Someone else will have to chime in about the fertilizer, I only ever use compost.

I'll post a pic later when I get home. Are they self pollinating like some peppers? Or should I worry they won't pollinate by bees, if so what's the easy way for me to pollinate?

They aren't self pollinating but if you have bees they will pollinate for you. If you don't have bees then check the FAQ here or do a google or youtube search on how to hand pollinate to learn how.

Way overcrowded. I count at least 6 plants there where only 2 or a max of three should be. All those plants are competing for nutrients. Thin and feed. They also are leggy as if not enough sun exposure but that might be the weather.

What Dave said. Keep the two that look the healthiest, not neccesarily the tallest, and cut the others off at the soil surface. Don't try to dig them apart, cucumbers hate their roots disturbed.

When I made my initial comment I was thinking light green from lack of sun, not yellow green from lack of nutrients. You need to get those cucumber plants healthy before thinking about harvesting cukes from them.

hmm thanks guys. ya im a newb to cukes. only have done peppers till now. i got the plant as a seedling tiny from home depot nursery in a little pot. so should i have seperated them individually when i initially planted? i thought they were all considered one plant when i bought em. they were only few inches in height. then we got rained on for weeks here which over watered and took out nutrients i imagine.

i guess will cutting down to only 2 or so "stalks" left enable those to develop better?

Thinning them down to a couple plants will help the remaining plants grow better. So will the addition of some nutrients.

And no, you shouldn't have separated them when you planted them. Even as seedlings they don't like their roots being disturbed too much.
