Hey guys. I live in zone 3a and I am growing sweet corn which are about 40 days old. Recently the bottom leaves of the stalks have been turning brown, they are completely dried up now. And i have also noticed that the leaves above them are actually turning brown from the tips! I water them every 2 days, and they have good fertile soil. Why is this suddenly happening?

A picture would help. There are a zillion potential corn diseases. If the leaves looked freckled before turning brown, it could be Stewart's Wilt.

I water them every 2 days How MUCH every 2 days? Is the soil moist 6" and more down? Dig down and see if it's a simple case of underwatering.
