giant marconi sweet peppers

question regarding my marconi sweet peppers. So this was the last transplant i had added to garden couple weeks back. i bought the transplant with 3 smallish (2-3inch) peppers already on the plant. Transplanted ok and plant is very healthy, however, the growing seems to have stopped and i dont see anymore branches where the peppes grow off (or whatever these are called) developing.
is this due to the plant being transpalnted with peppers already on it, and now only concentrating on those 3 peppers? should i cut off those peppers now and let the plant re focus on plant growth and sprouting more stems with flowers/peppers? what is best for this case? not sure if the plant is just being idle and stubborn and i should wait, but i also dont want it to remain small (its about 11-12 inches tall and biggest of the 3 peppers is about 5inches, they grow to about 8inches).
