Squash bugs! The first instar is green. Kill on sight!

yeah... juvenile squash bug aka my archnemesis.... they're shells aren't hard yet, so they are easy to squish.... they move quickly, though. get them! :)

Thanks so much! Searching this forum, I found the solution of using water and dish soap (Dawn in my case). It worked like a charm, I was amazed at how quickly it exterminated them (especially the little ones)!

The soap spray even works on the adults, as long as you wet them completely. They die within a minute or two. I mix rubbing alcohol in my soap spray, and it even kills the eggs.
