| My asparagus is in its 2nd season and is doing quite well. The dirt that it is in however is not that great, and I was going to build a raised bed around it. The ground is somewhat sloped where I will be building, and the asparagus is on the high end of it. The dirt level would be raised about 5 inches. Will this kill the asparagus?? |

| asparagus should be top dressed with a couple of inches of manure every year so building up the soil is probably fine. you might want to do the whole 5 in over 2 yrs. soil for asp really cant be too rich. |
