It could have been mis-labeled or it's possible that the label got switched. Incomplete pollination can also cause peppers to grow in weird shapes (I don't think this is happening in your case though).

I don't like bell pepps much. I have just one plant. Right they are selling them for 99C/lb.
Anyway, maybe you got a better deal. by mistake.

I agree they don't look like bells. I have two plants and even the misshapen ones still resemble bell peppers.

I have the same issue with my cali wonder peppers 1 plant is producing an odd shape

cb-garden- your plant was definitely mis-labelled. That looks like a jalepeno to me.

that pepper , obviously not a bell pepper. As Al said, it is more like jalapeno (or serano). if it does not grow much bigger than that. Try one ! doe it have some heat ?
It is just a mislabeling case.
