So my buttercup and delicata squash are huge and taking over, everything looks good and squash are coming on. Do I fertilize with dry or liquid? How does one go about side dressing with dry on huge plants? I have a 2 gallon bucket sunk near plants for deep watering, so should use liquid? Do I use fish emulsion, a tomato solution or a general purpose solution? I did a search but still feel a little confused. First year with winter squash, might be the last if they don't work out because they might be crossing the street soon.
