I suspect they're simply not getting pollinated which is natural to not get 100 percent pollination, especially in the beginning. I wouldn't worry or do anything different unless you want to hand pollinate. Also if your temps are 96 or higher, they won't create fruit, they'll go dormant until temps drop back down.

We had some really hot weather, then a week of cold (70 degrees) with rain; it looks like I only have male flowers now, assuming they are the ones on the reallly long stems. I will watch for female flowers and try hand-pollinating.

i think your plants look great, bright green and vibrant! you will always get some that don't get pollinated 100% and turn yellow, don't worry about it, just be happy that you have some that look healthy and great! if they all were not getting pollinated and all of them were yellowing and falling off then you would have reason to worry. good work this far! sarah
