| So I have a collection of bush beans I'm growing. They sprouted up fabulously in a very short period of time, but in the last week, I've noticed some of the plants have some leafy problems. I have one plant that's turned yellow all over and simply doesn't look well, but if that one bites it, I still have 16? left over.
But I'm concerned about the leaf issue, especially because it's happening on the biggest plants. An overhead picture of all my bean plants can be seen here: http://i45.tinypic.com/i3xf0k.jpg What do you all think? Thank you! |

| Several possible causes - excess heat, diseases like bean rust, injury, pests, inconsistent watering, nutrient over-dose, etc. The list goes on and on. So just guessing and given your location and that they are in containers (which is unusual), if there is no sign of pests then the odds are it is a watering and heat issue. Dave |

| I have a suspicion that heat is probably the primary issue, I'll probably move them to a little cooler location. Thanks! (As for the containers, I have no choice, there is NO room for an in-ground garden, and the dirt is granite and clay anyway. :/ ) |
