Nasturtiums in the shade?

I'm hearing conflicting stories about how well nasturtiums do in the shade. I have a spot on a north-east facing wall that only gets about 3 hours of morning light. Would nasturtiums survive there? Would they flower? It's also on a balcony, so containers only.

What is your experience growing nasturtiums in the shade?

What would you recommend for my problem wall (looking for a climber)?

nasturtiums need full sun or they won't bloom as well.

Three hours of DIRECT sun then shade, defused/indirect light I good enough for them. I know , I have some that do not get even ONE hour of direct sun. An doing OK, have flowers ...just remember to water them more often, very little fertilizing.

Oops I just realized I posted this in the veggies forum... sorry! I always kind of mentally group nasturtiums with salad greens because they go in salads...

3 hours of morning light is not considered Direct Sun, but give it a go, you should at least get lots of green leaves.
