| Hello all, I've got some bugs that have been crawling all over my squash leaves as of late. They seem to be multiplying and spreading around the garden (from squash now on to my cantaloupes). They're small, black, rather quick moving (and active), and if I'm not mistaken they can fly. They're very small (smaller than flea beetle). Also, I don't see them feeding on the plants, just crawling all over it, nor have I seen any significant amount of damage. I'm terrified that I haven't seen damage because there aren't enough of them....but they probably increase in # by 20% every day. Thoughts on what they are, and if I should do something about it? Anything that seems to be multiplying on certain plants seems like a red flag, even if I'm not seeing much damage yet. |
