I used a bottle of it. Seemed to do as good as job as BT. I hear it's more effective than BT on older(larger) caterpillars. I wouldn't know since I spray BT religiously and caterpillars never get a chance to get large. It does take care of a wider range of pests though. So, I guess it has THAT going for it. But it does kill bees, so only use it at dusk.

The price is what's so different than BT though. You need 4 times as much per gallon and it's 2-3 times as much. I probably won't buy it again unless I feel I absolutely need it.

I use it, I don't get that many garden pests so I don't need to do much other than picking caterpillars off plants, but when I have used Spinosad to get things under control it has worked well.

(And yeah, as woohooman said, use it at dusk to avoid harming bees.)

I use it on the brassicas against caterpillars. Works pretty well.

I use it on my roses for thrips, nothing else is really effective unless I want to kill every bug in the yard. I was using it on my squash for SVB, but I just ordered some liquid BT because it is cheaper.

Be aware...spinosad kills a lot of beneficial soil creatures.

I use it to control leafminers that manage to get it under row covers. I alternate with BT for caterpillar control. Always rotate Spinosad with BT. Insects can relatively easily build up resistance to spinosad, which is its main drawback.
