Got SVBs for sure

So I noticed a bit of what looked like frass on one of my squash plants, knocked it off and saw the bore hole. I decided to inject all six of my plants with BT. The others didn't show any obvious signs of frass yet, though since I'm doing a prune and stake method this year to grow more squash in a smaller space, it may have just been hard to see with the dried stubs of the pruned leaves.

Most of my plants appeared to have a bore hole that was not easy to see once I started injecting-- the BT would spurt out the bore hole further down the stem.

So the last plant, not only did the BT spurt out the borer hole, but it flushed a borer right out with it. Ugly little b*stard. I stabbed him a few times and tossed him in the alley for the birds to eat.

It was still pretty small, which I guess is good, since it means I'm hopefully going to get to them with these injections before it's too late.

How often should I inject knowing that I have them-- every three days for awhile? Or once a week?
