To cover or not to cover?

It's really hard to cover all the tomatoes, I know I'm risking some blossom drop but anything that hasn't set yet doesn't have much chance of ripening anyway before frost. I'm more worried about the peppers - have 50 peppers out back and another dozen near the house (of course, not all in 1 bed). I could cover the dozen with a couple of sheets but the 50 (8 in 1 row, 42 in another 100ft long row) best I could do would be pots/buckets since they're not terribly large to begin with (set out late June after ground dried out a bit). They are flowering and some have set already.

Supposed to get down to 50 (briefly, then warm back up after 3-4 hours) early tomorrow morning. Will they survive and set fruit, or should I try to cover? Tomorrow's high should be 70.
