| Hi All, Hope the summer bounty is progressing well for all!
I had one pumpkin (sugar) plant with a single pumpkin on it. I did had no SVBs when I left on 8/12 for vacation, came back sunday and it was decimated!! yellow to the tops... I harvested the single pumpkin today and pulled out the vines. Unfortunately there was a small (3") green pumpkin on the vine (I thought it was one of my round zucchini and didn't realize it was a pumpkin until I was pulling the cut vine out. anyway, my question is- will it ripen to orange off the vine? If not, is there any practical use for a green pumpkin other than painting it orange and using it for decoration?? :) Thanks! |

| There is a good chance it will turn orange from the stress of being removed. Keep it in a cool dry spot. |
