Argentine Ants and Corn

My sweet white corn is getting ready for harvest and we just noticed that ants are living in the husks. Should we just harvest now or ignore them? This is our first year growing corn and we have been so excited waiting to harvest them. Please give me some advice?? Living in Southern California.

If the ants are on the outside you should spray them with a few drops of dish soap in a sprayer. If they are trying to get into the silk some use mineral oil on the silk.
