| I can't believe this. Last year I was over-run with those bugs. This year, I haven't seen 1 yet! But.......I did squash 1 group of squash bug eggs. I've seen about 2 other groups of eggs, but when I went out the next day, they were gone. Do they have natural predators? I hope so! |

| Squash bugs are the reason why I won't grow winter squash, grrrr. The adults don't have a lot of predators that will mess with them; they are too stinky! But even ladybugs will eat the eggs. |

| Thanks rhizo. Does that include the Asian ladybugs? I hardly ever see the native ones anymore. |
|
| Catherine, Asian ladybugs DO act as predators in our yards and gardens. |

| Thanks rhizo. Yeah......they're predators on me too! Ouch! |
|
| Our chickens will eat the nymphs (small white version of the adults that accumulate en masse on the fruit). BUT BE CAREFUL - chickens will also eat the fruit (squash, etc). |
