I put a bunch of peas in my compost that were deceased due to fusarium wilt. Does this make my compost unsuitble to use? (too late to remove now)Was not planning to use it till next year so will the passage of time and decomp destroy the wilt or not?

You might want to ask on the compost board, but will probably get your answer here anyway. =) I' guessing if you have a hot compost you might be OK (just a guess!) Nancy

Agree it's the wrong forum but personally I wouldn't use it unless you have a very active hot cooking compost pile. Then again if that is what you really had your soil is already contaminated anyway. Suggest you do some research into the disease and learn how it thrives and survives and then decide. Dave
