How can i know if my corn is ready to harvest, another thing im kinda worry is that some of the silk is still white and not pollinated and tassels are dried out.

I have been told to wait until the silks are dark brown, then flip them with your finger and see if dust comes off of them. If they produce dust, they are ready to be picked. You can squeeze the kernels at that point too with your fingernail and see them squirt corn juice into the air. Some varieties of corn are different than others. Some only have 4 or 5 days to get them harvested. You need to pay attention to the kind that you are growing.

When did you plant and what kind of corn are you growing?

The way I tested it was peeled back a bit of the shuck on one of the ears just so I could see the first few kernels and used my thumbnail to puncture one of the kernels. If the juice that comes out is clear, you need to wait. If it's milky-white, it's ready.

It doesn't look ready to me. The corn in the topmost photo looks closest to ready, maybe ready enough to check the kernels.

Seems like Orc trickery to me. I don't think they'd be that tall and mature looking from August 10 to now... would they?
