looks like bind weed to me

I looked up bindweed and that is not it. It is weird I planted 2 types of seeds and half the stuff coming up is 1 type of lettuce and half the stuff coming up is this! And this is not something I have seen in the garden/yard ever.

I think it's Mollugo verticillata, Carpetweed. It's an annual, propagated by seed. There are several ways it could come up in your garden, so I would not assume the seed company is at fault. Do pull it out asap as it can form large mats and removing such could disturb your lettuce seedlings.

Concur: it is a common garden weed in Georgia. Not overly troublesome but easy to remove.

Something in the Rubiaceae, anyway. Mollugo verticillata would fit as would Galium aparine, Cleavers. Just pull it up.
