If you like your potatoes smaller you might consider planting those at a closer spacing. I plant Red Pontiacs at 10" spacing and get perfect sized potatoes.

Mark - Will keep your spacing recommendations in mind next year, it is always nice to squeeze in a little more production in the same square footage. I think it was just a good year for potatoes around here, it has been a while since I have had them obtain this size.

Nice harvests of potatoes! Our Reds did OK but not as nice as yours! Our Yukons do OK though and seem to store well.

Hudson...WY - Those look like some nice Yukons...

ltilton - I did not use any fertilizer but I did till compost into the soil in that area last spring when doing garden prep.
