Biennial Cauliflower?

I have two packets of seeds that were labeled and given to me by a friend. They are snowball and violet queen varieties. They are labeled as biennial, but this does not seem right to me?

Yep, cauliflower is a biennial. That is only important to you when you want to save seeds.
