Mexican Miniature Watermelon (Melothria scabra)

Okay, where to start. I started this plant (from seed) late for central Oregon. I don't know much about it. So far the plant looks like a miniature cucumber.
Anyone ever grow it?

A link to where I got the seed.

Melothria scabra is best known as the Mexican Sour Gherkin.I t is sometimes called the Mouse Melon. Grape sized with a cucumber flavor. Some folks think it has a slight lemony flavor. Used in salads and pickles.

These sound very interesting, please let us know how they do for you. I would be interested in trying them next year.

Thank you for your help. Is what I had from seed packet though.
Has anyone grown it?

Yes, I grow Melothria scabra most years (although not this year). It was talked about a great deal in the thread listed below.
