Cucumbers in pots report

We grew 6 cucumber plants in one 15 gallon pot this year, started from seed. I'd read from several posts that cukes don't really do so well in pots, so my expectations were rather low. We have had so many cucumbers we are almost sick of them, and so are the neighbors and my co-workers. So it is indeed possible!
Thinking about trying zucchini in pots next year.

I grew one burpless in a 5 gallon bucket and it did well. Gave a couple away even!

I also had cucumbers in pots and they all did really good. Actually, all my veggies are in pots. The Zucchinis did well, as did the Eggplants, Tomatoes and all Peppers. The String Beans produced just enough for one person per meal on 4 plants. My herbs are climbing out of their pots. They do need frequent fertilizing tho'.

I started one Marketmore cucumber in a 20" diameter pot about a month ago. This is my first go at cucs in pots. That plant is climbing a 6 foot tomato cage and is looking good. Lots of blooms this week. Hopefully there will be fruit soon.
