Zucchini Plant is dying

Can anyone help me figure out what is going on with this zucchini plant?

I live in Taiwan, with a climate similar to that of Houston, TX.

Here is a link that might be useful: Another picture of my plants

Looks like powdery mildew. How often are you watering?

I'm watering about every day or every other day b/c the soil dries out quick here in Taiwan. Too often?

Older leaves look okay except for the powdery mildew.
Newer leaves are gnarly.
Any chemical weed killer used in the area?

I didn't even notice the older leaves... PM would not do that to the newer ones.
