I'm in the st Louis vicinity & the weather has really cooled off here. I have some asparagus crowns that I need to relocate. the berries have ripened & the plants are starting to yellow. is this a good time to move them or should I wait until they've wilted for the year? I like to get this done before the ground freezes. I'd rather not wait until spring since moving them now would give me a chance of having a spring crop.
