| I have a question for future Okra crops. This year I had one plant I accidentally cut the top out of early in the season. It seemed to "sucker out" and bore plentifully. Is this something I should do to plants to increase yield or was I just lucky?. |

| I usually top the plants about midseason. Yes it does make them bush out and bear more if you have sufficent distance between plants. |
| And it makes it easier to harvest if it isn't a dwarf variety. |
| It is good to top the plant for making it shorter and branches out more but not before it reaches certain height (approximately 10 inches tall for okra). |
