RE: What is your garden passion?

hello im new here my name is Joe Sterner

my passion is Hot Peppers, the Aji species and other Central American types such as omni-color,lemon drop, purira, limon,Colorado, and most exotic hot peppers as well as Habaneros, Fatalii and bhut jolokia, i also love ornamentals such as Calico,Chinese 5 color and Ordondo

i love to grow them and eat them, i make hot sauce, relish etc with them from my own recipes
i live in Pennsylvania and have been an organic gardener on and off for quit a few years

i have grown so many species i cant remember
garden 2009 had as follows

jalapeno, cayenne, piri piri,di arbol, ancho, ancho capalin, as well as sweet peppers

im planning a larger garden this season because i was to a Chile Fest in Bowers Pa September 12th i got a ton of peppers and of course lots of seeds, there is a farm that is near the Chile Fest called Meadowview Farms, they had so many species of pepper i cant tell it all if i had to guess almost 150!!, the greatest thing about it was you get to pick your own!! its owned by a Mennonite family so they do not have a computer, however i made friends with the owner and he is a great fellow, they are closed for the winter right now but will reopen in march (i think), if anyone is interested in info you can call and ask for James Weaver the number is 1-610-682-6094, he told me he will have starter plants ready for sale but im not sure when

thanks again to all my friends to be>> your friend joe
