Should I protect my container carrots?

Tonight we're supposed to have our first freeze. I'm growing carrots in a large container. I have read they are sweeter after a freeze, but also to harvest before a freeze. This is my first carrot-growing attempt and I only have one container. Temps are predicted to be a possible low of 29, and freezing or below for up to 5 hours.

If necessary, I could lug this tub into the garage. Advice?

BTW, tomorrow it will be sunny in the 60's. There are no other freezes predicted in the 10-day forecast, but beautiful weather in the 60's/70's! (I love fall!)

Also, I'm assuming that my Brussels Sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower (also in containers) will be fine.
