am I wasting time saving pepper seeds for chickens?

This may be off topic but to those who have chickies.I have been saving for weeks most all of my still picking green pepper seeds for chickens. This is for a neighbor who lives by our Lakefront other home. I live in the city here.
So am I wasting all my tedious time saving them??? Hubby suggest I freeze all the insides etc whole w?o taking time to save each indivual seeds to a paper towel to dry. No Hubby takes them down once or twice a month. He has not asked the neighbor if the chickens are eating the green pepper seeds.
I have saved some for my self, in case I plant seeds, instead of rebuying the plants. But M had the plants cheap last year in 4 pack or 6 pack cells. Most turned out great and are not producing still but some of them are still turning orange or red or yellow for the other varities I planted

Oh, if you are saving them for chickens, put the last amount of work possible into it! Chickens will eat all kind of stuff, and no need to pamper them. I keep a bowl of all kind of veggie scraps for my chickens, they prefer some parts over others, but once they eat the more desirable stuff, they move onto the rest.

RE: another idea

One tip that may work well, is to just put these pepper innards into a zip lock bag that you keep in the freezer. You can just keep adding to it until you have a trip out there. I think it is so sweet of you to save things for the chickens!

Yes That is what Hubby said. but I hate taking up room in my chest freezer it is so much stuff now. which I am grateful. Scared they would get pushed to bottom etc when freezer diving. Hubby did help me organize it somewhat. Plus I have a big white board dry erase type. If I could just keep it updated.
Yeah ,if I liked eggs, and did not have such a small yard and can barely take care of my Senior self. I even forgot about a little fish I had years ago. Forgot to take him with me . Plus so many dang wild domestic cats around here So only pets I have are dust bunnies and too much clutter. Thank goodness for Craigs list. Slowly selling off stuff cheaply. But not fast enough for my better half. He threatens a dumpster. Plus Junk pickup curb stuff, thrift store extra cheap clothes calls to me. Salvage store groceries still in bags. LOL

If you do not have room in your freezer, how about in refrigerator section?. Just put them in a brown bag. It will dry, reduce in volume and won't rot.
Also, this time of the year humidity is low inside. Spreading them on a paper towel will do. You don't need to separate the seeds from the pulp, chickens can do that themselves.

It's a lot of work for the amount and quality of the output...that's all.

Toss the seeds; eat the chickens.
