| i would like to re use my potting mix but i would like to put it in my compost bin first does anyone have any concerns |

| I'm curious what others will say about this as well. But I do not re-use the composted potting mix in any shape or form for other potted plants. When I have a potted plant that croaks I toss the used soil into my compost bin and let it mix in with everything there to be re-used later in my garden beds. |

| Re-using is fine if first freshened up with some new mix added. Lots of discussions on the various forums here about doing that. But not after it has been mixed with compost, no. Great for the garden but not for containers. Dave |
