preparing soil

I have never had a vegetable garden before but I decided to start one next year. To get ready for it I had my soil tested. I've never done anything like this before, so I'm a little overwhelmed and not quite sure what to do.

First of all the soil pH is at 7.4. I've hear it should be around 6.5 so should I lower it and how?

phosphorus and potassium were too high, and the only thing I need to add to the soil is nitrogen. Is there a way to lower the phosphorus and potassium, and should I? Also, what should I use for a nitrogen source?

Any help would be appreciated!
