| We have a difficult area, heavy shade with some prior erosion from the last hurricane. Grass will not grow, although the water situation should be better now with the drainage system installed. Finally placed some native shrubs in the area, but the bare soil remains. In the pic i threw down some wood chips i had to see what it looks like.
Advice welcome- this is a north facing downslope, heavy shade in Western NJ. What to do on the ground? Lots more wood chips? Leaf litter? Try for ground cover plantings- BIG Area..?? Thanks in advance |
