| We just purchased this home and want to update the front landscape. I would like to take out all of the bushes and put a smoke bush in front of the two small windows to the left. I need some ideas for the rest of the foundation as well as what do you think of a smoke bush in the front?

| We also faced a similar situation. We removed all the evergreen shrubs and planted the Smoke Bush either side of the entry. That was five years ago. For some reason, the Smoke Bush has yet to bloom. We also planted mountain laurel where the bushes were, but they were attacked by leaf spot. I wouldn't pull all the bushes out until you have a comprehensive plan. Good luck! |
