my backyard is constantly flooding and i want to build a floating deck over the area. i need to control the water though before i do that. here are some pics of my backyard. what do you think i should do? i was thinking of building a trench or dry river bed. maybe i should add a gutter to the garage...will it make a big difference? so far i have pulled up 2 large stips of landscaping fabric and dug up a bunch of landscaping blocks that were burried randomly around the yard. that seemed to have helped some but a down pour the other night caused it to flood. though it seemed like it went down faster. so looking at the pics what do you think i should do?
