I live in Zone 6. This area is my front lawn, looking up at my neighbors. The hillside is in full sun and needs desperate attention. The area that I am standing in will eventually be fenced in pool. Where I've laid landscaping fabic is the area that I am addressing.

What would you do to shield street and neighbors. Its a very quiet street so Im not looking to create barriers just something pretty to look at with the feel of a little privacy. I was thinking a couple of dogwoods and perennials - perhaps butterfly garden and birds.
