Any suggestions for small dirt area by front steps?

| Any suggestions for small dirt area between concrete steps and driveway. Its approximately 2 feet wide by 5 feet long. I have a few stepping stones and container plants there now. Would like something more interesting. Any ideas would be appreciated. |
