New patio

Ok, so here is a pic of our new patio and garden installed since we moved in last year (new home). I am thinking of covering the SE corner of the patio (where the potted lemon tree is in the background) with a white rose-covered pergola. Ideas? Thoughts?

There is not a lot of traffic over here so if you want a discussion of your design needs you would be better off on the discussion side of the forum.
