I will have a small covered deck that steps down to a concrete patio. The pool has a fence around it, and there will be a gate from concrete patio to pool area. Next to that gate, I will need to build a bar or some kind of planter box to stop kids from getting in the pool area.
Any ideas for this separation?

We will also need something from the patio to wood fence.
