Keeping deer out but letting view in?

We have a partial ocean view, past trailers (summer) and across neighbors' yard, and want to enclose about 1000 sq. ft. of the area with fencing & low shrubs, for veg. growing and outdoor dining, but want to keep deer out. How can we do this without feeling we are in a cage of 6 ft. high fencing? (high enough to keep out local deers)

By giving the "cage" a decorative, attractive appearance that catapults it to the level of an artistic solution ... rather than just a utilitarian fence that appears as merely an engineering solution. How? Posts with finials. Attractive fencing of whatever kind you use. Top rail, if it helps. Organized layout. Quality workmanship.
