| I'm building a hoop greenhouse and I need help with designing the inside. I have gardened half my life but never in a greenhouse. Space is premium I know, so there has to be greenhouse gardening for dummies. Where do I plant what and when. What works and what doesn't.

| Hi, Cherlyndria. GW has an entire forum on this topic: http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/strucs/ You might also want to ask at your public library for basic books on greenhouses and hoop houses. One idea I like from another site is to use wire closet shelves for upper shelves (IIRC, they were held up by wooden posts attached to the wooden raised beds). I'd like to add a greenhouse onto my walk-out basement, but can't decide whether to build it against the house or not, and whether build a vestibule so I could access the greenhouse from the basement door.... |
